The mobile app arrives at a time when smartphone use is at an all-time high among U.S. adults. “In an increasingly mobile world, we wanted to help nonprofits stay on their volunteers’ radar,” explains David Beck, founder and CEO of Rotunda Software. “With this simple, sleek app interface, it’ll be easier than ever for organizations to stay connected to the people they depend on to deliver their goods and services.”
The release comes on the heels of months spent analyzing how volunteers interact with upcoming opportunities. Volunteers can sign up to serve, find a substitute, and update their profiles and availability from anywhere using their phone. “We’re excited to make it easier for volunteers to connect with the causes they support,” says Beck.
The mobile app for volunteers is free for organizations and volunteers, and is available now in the App Store. At this time, the app is available for iOS users only.
