The Lord is My Help Thanksgiving Baskets

The Lord is My Help

The Lord is My Help is one of St John's primary missions and outreach in the Gulf Coast community. This year they plan to distribute 150 Thanksgiving baskets to families who otherwise might not enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. When you shop, please consider putting some extra items in your buggy. These are the goods that would be useful to the Lord is my help for their baskets.

Frozen turkeys 10 to 15 lb.

Instant mashed potatoes

Cranberry sauce

Dressing mix

Canned vegetables

Canned pumpkin pie filling

These can be delivered to The Lord is My Help (behind Phoenicia restaurant) before November 17th. You might also consider earmarking a check to them or making an online donation through Realm (select The Lord is My Help fund).

They need donations of canned goods, proteins such as canned tuna, ramen noodles, and other non-perishables throughout the year. As you know, this has been a challenging year for many, and our food banks are all stretched to the limit. If you are in a position to do so, please consider helping. May the Lord bless us all in this Thanksgiving season, and may we be a blessing to others.
